Madison Sundquist

Speech Language Pathology Assistant

About Madison

Hi, I’m Madison (or Madi). I was born and raised in Sherwood Park/Edmonton, Alberta. I completed my Bachelor of Arts at the University of Alberta and my minor in Linguistics is what got me interested in speech and language. I then went on to study at MacEwan University to get my Diploma as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).

I have experience working with pediatric clients in areas including speech sound delays, language disorders and delays, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

My favourite part about working in the field of speech and language is seeing the progression client’s start to show and the confidence they gain. It’s an incredibly rewarding career for this reason.

Education: - Bachelor of Arts, University of Alberta, 2020 - Therapeutic Assistant in Speech and Language Diploma, MacEwan University, 2022
