About Laura

Hi! I’m Laura and I was born in Colombia and although I have been in Canada for the past 24 years, I am still fluent in Spanish! I have called Edmonton home since I started my university career at University of Alberta where I completed a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and then a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

I am passionate about supporting clients of all ages including adults and children. I have experience working with adults with aphasia, children with complex communication needs, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), fluency (stuttering), and with preschool-aged children with speech and language delays.

In my spare time you can see me at spin classes or the gym, reading, or playing with my 2 fur babies.
