Responsibilities:

βœ” Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to clients' individual needs
βœ” Work closely with neurodiverse children, supporting their sensory, motor, and daily living skill development
βœ” Support clients and families through activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, feeding, and self-care tasks
βœ” Implement fine motor activities to improve coordination, handwriting, and hand strength
βœ” Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and assistive equipment
βœ” Document patient progress and communicate observations to the occupational therapist
βœ” Foster a positive and supportive therapy environment

Qualifications:

βœ… Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
βœ… Experience working with neurodiverse children (e.g., Autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorders) (preferred)
βœ… Knowledge of ADL and fine motor therapy techniques
βœ… CPR certification (preferred)
βœ… Strong interpersonal and communication skills
βœ… Compassionate, patient-focused, and team-oriented
