Responsibilities:
β Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to clients' individual needs
β Work closely with neurodiverse children, supporting their sensory, motor, and daily living skill development
β Support clients and families through activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, feeding, and self-care tasks
β Implement fine motor activities to improve coordination, handwriting, and hand strength
β Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and assistive equipment
β Document patient progress and communicate observations to the occupational therapist
β Foster a positive and supportive therapy environment
Qualifications:
β
Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
β
Experience working with neurodiverse children (e.g., Autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorders) (preferred)
β
Knowledge of ADL and fine motor therapy techniques
β
CPR certification (preferred)
β
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
β
Compassionate, patient-focused, and team-oriented
