We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Psychologist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, providing interventions and therapeutic support to clients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual and family therapy using evidence-based approaches.
Collaborate with other professionals (e.g., speech therapists, occupational therapists, educators, physicians) to develop and implement holistic treatment plans.
Offer support and guidance to parents, caregivers, and families in managing mental health and developmental challenges.
Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and professional development activities.
Maintain accurate documentation and reports in line with professional and ethical standards.
We are looking for a psychologist who is passionate about supporting children, youth and their families through a friendly and energetic, play-based approach.
A team member who has excellent communication skills, who has the ability to build strong rapport with families and their support team members.
Eager to work collaboratively and able to provide clear communication with other members of the family’s team.
Comfortable coaching families and support staff on new strategies to try at home, school or daycare.
The ability to create functional and evidence-based intervention plans for children and youth.
Sensitive to linguistic, cultural, social, economic, individual, and positional differences among staff, providers, and children/families served.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Master's or Doctorate in Psychology (Clinical, Counselling, or Educational).
Licensing: Registered or eligible for registration with College of Alberta Psychologists .
Experience:
Experience working with both pediatric and adult populations.
Competency in therapy models (CBT, ACT, DBT, play therapy, etc.), and intervention planning.
Experience working within a multidisciplinary team is an asset.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
Minimum of a Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Sciences or acceptable equivalent.
Current and active registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists is required.
Strong clinical skills in assessment, goal formulation and treatment. Ability to engage children and families in making goals and effectively communicate strategies.
Ability to practice 1-1 or group sessions with child/youth or adults and provide quality evidence-based practices based on the client’s needs.
Training and experience in children, youth, family issues and developmental disability related issues. Play therapy experience is an asset!
Criminal record check and professional liability insurance.
Previous experience in supporting children, youth and families is an asset!
